Default Open Skies / British Airways

My parents (father 82, mother 77) purchased a ticket last December 7, 2010 to come on Open Skies (British Airways) from Paris to NY. The cost of the two tickets is 2,232 Euros.

A few hours later, in the morning of December 8th, 2010 my dad is rushed to the hospital with a bleeding ulcer.

As I found out I call Open Skies and inform them of this emergency. This is less than 12 hours from when he purchased it, may be 8 hours. Anyway, I get on the phone and inform the Open Skies customer service of this situation and they totally refuse to consider to refund the cost of the tickets.

I prepare a file and send to Open Skies with all the medical documents reflecting my dad's case and after almost two month I am so frustrated by this company. OPEN SKIES = No heart, No sympathy, No Care
