Spirit Airlines ripoff $9 Fare Club a joke

When purchasing a reservation online and applying a Reservation Credit from a previous reservation, please make sure to click on “View & Apply Vouchers and Credits”. Click on the “Reservation Credit” tab and enter the reservation number (N7BEWZ). The credit may be applied towards reservations for any of the passengers on the original reservation only. Once done, you are able to proceed with your reservation by entering your credit card for the applicable amount due to complete your reservation. I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to show by posting these e-mails. Can you be more specific about what your complaint is?

i think what happened here was she signed up for a program for $9 and didnt read anything about it, so she thought that they charged her the $40 without here acceptance, so she wanted them to give her the money back and cancrl the membership......she authorized the charge by accepting to the conditions first stated and if you just click the accept box without reading it than that is their fault, you should always read that stuff when it comes to credit/debit/check cards
so for them to give you a $40 credit was a better deal than you think, since it is/was a nonfundable transaction |

I did open a credit card last year and joined the $9 Fare Club, was not able to use it, wanted to cancel it and Spirit will not refund the $39.95 on my Credit Card. Even though the e-mail indicates they cancelled the $9 Fare club !!!!!!!! |

Last month while attempting to get on line with my allowed underseat and above two within limit size and weight size carry-ons, I was rudley stopped by a Spirit employee advising me I had too much carry-on. I explained to her that my purse was going into my underseat carry-on, but she did not want to hear and ordered me to go explain this to the check-in counter. I noticed other passengers walking through with more than I and my husband had. I went to the check-in counter with my passport and boarding pass in hand and was informed I would have to check one of my two bags. After taking my bag, I was charged $25. It didn't take me long to figure why I was sent to the counter. They charged me the additional $25 for my cheap ticket and seat and this is their way of making extra money. I have flown many times from Ft. Lauderdale to D.C. with this same luggage and without incident. The plane was about half emply to the point of the attendants offering passengers to move up and most took complete rows and napped during the flight. My return trip officials did not question my same exact luggage at the D.C. airport. This needs to be reported that other passengers know what to expect from Spirit with their cheap fairs. I contacted customer service without resolution for myself or satisfaction of this issue. Thank you.

You are allowed one carry on of specified dimensions and weight and one personal item which could be something like a purse or a briefcase or a laptop. Two carry ons plus a purse is not allowed even if you want to put your purse into one of the carry ons. If you have two carry ons you have to check one if they ask you to.
