COMPLAINT: EMIRATES - bad service, no response (France > India)

Hello,

I had booked my flight ticket from Paris to India with Emirates airline - 2h35 mins transit in Dubai

After we boarded the flight, we were announced that the flight had to return to the terminal as a security check had to be done, and passengers were asked to wait in the waiting hall.

Initially, we were told that there can be a delay of 2 hours and to wait until 4.30pm to board again, and 5pm, and 5.30pm, and 6pm, and 6.30, and 7pm, and 7.30... each half an hour, the waiting has been inscreased by half an hour until 9pm, when we were finally annouced that the flight got cancelled and that we will be going on a flight the next day!

We were not informed correctly by the airline service and team on the ground about what the problem was, except that it is a "technical problem", but not whether it was a serious one or a small one.
They just kept us waiting, all passengers were getting frustrated and angry and tired!!
It was a exhausting especially for old people, small kids and pregnant women waiting for almost 7 hours!
Lack of information from Emirates' services was unnaceptable!!

After the official cancellation of the flight, we were asked to take back all the baggages, and wait in long queues with heavy luggages for the hotel rooms allotment.
The formalities lasted until almost midnight! After which we checked-in the hotel rooms nearby the Airport.

The next morning, after coming to the boarding counter for the next flight, i was told that i had a transit for 7h15 in Dubai (didnt even get a hotel room), for which I didn't sign up for in my initial booking (2h35mins)!

Finally, i arrived at my final destination 24hrs30minutes later!

I have travelled several times with Emirates in the past, it is supposed to be one of the best airlines, that's why i chose once again Emirates.

Unfortunately, this time i was very disappointed with Emirates' service on this trip, and the lack of information. This was an important trip for me, as i was heading for my engagement, and due to this delay of 1 day, i had important appointements cancelled!!

So i wrote a mail almost a month back asking Emirates for a financial compensation to the losses caused by them.
I had called the Emirates office in Paris too! Nothing, no luck!

Until now there is no response from them, and no action has been taken from their side and im very very very disappointed!!

I dont mean to give a bad reputation to Emirates but from this bad experience, i am indeed DISAPPOINTED WITH EMIRATES AIRLINE SERVICE!!

Hello,

Finally after multiple mailings and callings, i had received a reimbursement from Emirates for the inconvenience caused (reimbursement worth the amount of the flight ticket i paid for the entire trip)
