Refusal to honor our tickets
We booked with American Airlines in 2020 to jamaica, our son got covid a few days before departure. We had to cancel
We rebooked in 2021 for the same trip, American Airlines cancelled our flight the night before departure. We had to book with Southwest so that we could salvage our trip.
We rebooked the tickets in 2022, then our 16 yo daughter was in the hospital and we had to cancel.
Tried to book again this year and they claim it is against their policy to honor our tickest since it has been 2 years since the original purchase. I can understand policies, but, the fact that they cancelled in 2021 is the kicker here. The tickets would have been used if they hadn't cancelled our flight. Plus, no compensation for the fact that we had to scramble to purchase other tickets the night before our trip.
We just want a credit to purchase tickets for our tip this year.
