Awful customer service
I purchased tickets to Lexington, KY. one way. I flew out of Greensboro, NC around 11;30 am, 1st stop Charlotte, NC. 20min flight. Get to CLT, board next flight to Lexington, sitting on plane , Capt comes on tell us there was a delay. About 10 min later the flight was cancelled. Mad rush out of the plane to a service counter to try to get another flight to Lexington. No way, no room on any later flights. AA offers nothing to over 100 customers. I'm stranded in Charlotte, no rental cars available, so I book a flight back to Greensboro, my home. The AA rep told me that any refund would come from the corporate office and go online to fill out some form. I get home fill out from and they tell me no refund. I call the 800 line, over an hour and a half later I talk to a person who tells me some bull-**** and fill out the form again. Same outcome, no refund. So, I spend over $300.00 to fly from Greensboro, NC to Charlotte, NC, spend the day in the terminal , then fly back to Greensboro, NC. All because of their lousy service. So American Airlines does not care about their customers only taking your money.
