AA cancelled my flight & Lied to keep my money
I filed a complaint online as they directed me to. I asked for a leader to call me back to discuss what happened. I have been flying with AA over a decade. Advantage member club & the whole thing. I got a call from a Cadiesha Jasmin who told me that a leader is not going to call me. The only person I get to talk to is her. She then offers me a $50 credit for two of the 3 passengers. Airfare was $2,200. The plane was broken & couldn't fly. I explained that a $100 credit for a $2,200 purchase where they couldn't hold up their end of the arrangement was insulting. Cadiesha said she will have to discuss with her superiors & call me back. She never called me back. 10 minutes later I got an email that I get a $75 credit. I tried to respond to the email, but got a message that I was emailing an address that is not monitored by American Airlines. I then tried to call. No answer & no voicemail. I just end up getting a message to respond to my email. The email they don't monitor. There is no number to call, no department to contact & nobody at American Airlines cares at all.
