Our outward journey was OK. But on the 6 April we boarded QR 931 Clark to Doha . We being

There was a delay due to a technical fault. This delay meant we missed our conecting flight to London Heathrow. On landing at Doha we approached the transfer desk. The family in front of us managed to get on a flight London, but when it got to us we were told all the flights were full and we would have to stay overnight in Doha and then get a flight to Venice with connection to London.
We were told to go and sit down someone would bring us the paperwork. We waited and waited over an hour and a half. Then I noticed a man who had been behind us had all his paperwork.So we approached the desk and it was soon apparent that the women we first spoken to had not
done anyting!! We eventually got to the hotel at 21.00 having arrived in Doha at 17.00.
We had to get up at 3.00 to catch the 6.45 to Venice.

We arrived at the aiport on time only to learn there was already a 30 min delay.We boarded QR125
but there was a further hour delay because we were waiting for a connecting flight. I complained to
one of your staff. Why were we waiting for these people? We were only 30 mins late last night but you did not wait for us?? I also explained that because of the delay we were goingto miss our connection. She got her supervisor. Who did well contacted Venice and had someone meet us.
When we arrived in Venice she was very helpful. But she could only get us on a BA flight to Gatwick. We managed to phone our taxi people, just caught them before they left to pick us up,got them to pick us up at Gatwick (extra cost 15). Honorata Soliman took the option of taking the bus to Heathrow. Unfortunately the bus never turned up!! So she got a train to London and then a taxi home (extra cost 30). She had a swollen foot so this added problem did not help.

COMPENSATION

So to compensate us for:

Being nearly 20hrs late.
The poor treatment by your people in Doha.
Inconveniece and extra cost to us
Inconveniece to our freinds and families waiting for us in UK

I claim a return flight Heathrow to Clerk each
500 each

Qatar offered only $100 in vouchers
