Default Turkish Airlines

I booked my flight with Turkish Airlines. I asked them to give me a permission to travel with my cat, as I need to get back to my own country. I chose exact dates as I have an important trip right after my arrival. Turkish Airlines refused to take my cat with me inside the plane. I asked them to provide a space inside the luggage store. They refused again. I called to Istambul and asked them to help as I can not leave my pet in the strange country (a cat is a member of my family for several years). They said that there are two small dogs inside the cabine and one is in the luggage space, and they can not let me in with cat. I asked them to help me to solve it, as my cat will be sleeping with pills, and dogs are small, every animal in the cage. Their answer was "NO". I asked if they can move dogs to the luggage store if they do not want to mix cats and dogs. Noone can help me again. Moreover, they were rude, unpatient! I didn't even imagine people who work for an international airline company can talk this way - rude, gross, threatening way of speaking. I couldn't change my dates as I couldn't miss an important business trip just only to find a plane with no dogs or cats on it.
So, I can tell everyone not to use TURKISH AIRLINES as they will never help you. They will treat you improperly in all ways. Incompetent staff with rude manner of dealling with customers. There is an arrogant customer relations managers. It's me who ask them to calm down (usually, it's opposite). I just decided to stay away from this company. I will never use them again. I changed my flight to other airline company, even though I got some inconvenience.

Did you ask what the maximum number of pets in the whole aircraft is?
If it is 2 in the whole cabin and 1 in cargo then that is it.

As I found out the rules are different for different airline companies.
I didn't ask about maximum number of pets. But cargo provides more space than just for one animal. Usually it's like that. Problem was everywhere are dogs. They didn't want to be flexible and try to solve this matter. They didn't want to understand my particular situation and to offer me other options. They simply didn't want to try, think and give me any other advices or help me. All I have heard is suggestion to change the airline company (according to the specialist from their Call center). OR "Sorry, we can not help you". In the particular case, talking to customer relations manager all I have heard it was just like underlying message:"Stop calling to us, we can do nothing, leave and forget ur pet". Thank you, guys! Great job! That's why I went to another company.

NEVER AGAIN
I have had a nightmare of an experience with Turkish Air Lines. My two old sisters were to go back home from Copenhagen. Apparently they have hand two bags more than they were authorised to take with them into the airplane. The air line’s staff confiscate the extra hand bags without giving them any receipt.. They don’t even allow them to call me who was present at the terminal at that time so that I can collect the extra hand bags. My sisters were very rudely treated and pushed into the air plane. The day after I went to Turkish Air Lines office at Copenhagen Air Port to pick up the hand bags, but there was no trace of the bags. Since then I have tried several times to get my sisters’ hand bags back but all my efforts have been in vain, and every time the Turkish Air Lines staff have come with a different story about the whereabouts of the bags. I tried to see the head of Turkish Air Lines in Copenhagen. The staff just played with me, ,made mockery and showed each other as the head of the office. Until today I haven’t been able to get back my sisters’ hand bags. The contents of those bags were very valuable. As you know one puts valuables in her/his hand bag rather than big suitcases. The worst thing is the fact that until now I have written to different authorities in Turkish Air Lines such as General Management in Istanbul, Customer Services, Central Baggage Tracing Dept. but non of them have bothered to care. Even no answer for my feed back comment. For me, my family, and relatives …FLYING WITH TURKISH AIR LINES ? NEVER AGAIN. And I will try to advise my associates not to fly with Turkish Air Lines.
