Thumbs down Ba non response to extortionate charges due to bereavement

I repeat other passenger complaints in this forum. Last October, this airline led me to believe by telephone that a booking urgently changed because of a death would incur only a small admin charge. On this basis, I made travel arrangements to participate in a New Zealand funeral. BA then charged me an additional £1242 to use the return portion only of a fare booked with them four months previously. Having sent a cursory response, they now ignore correspondence sent to them. I am not giving up on this. PJ
