Flight #445 flight attendant Bridgette from Jamaica
This entire experience with Spirit was horrible. For starters the time of my return flight changed at least 3 times before my travel date. This was a total inconvenience but I figured out how to get booked on another airline and not allow this to ruin my vacation. Secondly, I couldn’t get anyone to help me with a refund on the travel insurance that I paid for that cancelled return flight. Thirdly, I was told to put my purse in my carry on or I’d have to pay extra for carrying on my purse. I actually did that but the same flight attendant/customer service agent at the gate came back now complaining about my travel companions bag and eventually making us pay for her bag.
Furthermore, once on the plane and trying to store bags my travel companion asked the flight attendant where could she store her bag and the attendant named Bridgette (that made it clear by repeating she was part of the crew based out of Florida) kept repeating “good morning, good morning.” She refused to answer the question that was asked to her before the other party would say good morning back. She was being very rude by ignoring her and speaking slowly to her as if she was a child. After the conversation finally moved past the “good morning” situation Bridgett continued loudly with her negative comments to the other attendant and on outburst. She was saying how the part of the plane where we sat was not her part of the plane, it was the other attendants. She told the other assistant to remind her to never come back to work out of Columbus, she didn’t like working here. She mentioned that she was from Jamaica and she needs to go back there and so on. Her comments were so unprofessional and unnecessary and the encounter with her started my vacation off to a bad start! I want her supervisor to be away of how she’s interacting with the Spirit guest.
