I went to check on my kids' flight status from Dulles to Burlington last night to find out that they had canceled the flight. I completely understand that weather can be a factor in flying in the winter, but it was United that rerouted my kids in the first place to Dulles (instead of Chicago) when returning from Denver.

If they hadn't messed with their original flight plan, my kids wouldn't have gotten to Washington only to find that they won't fly them out until late tomorrow night...which they will probably cancel because of weather. More importantly, after being put on hold for 25 minutes, when I asked for the name and ID number of the united airlines person (not) handling my case, he hung up on me.

I will never fly United again that's for sure...their customer service is non-existent!!
