Oman Air
Recently purchased OMAN AIR business class Bangkok/Muscat/London/Munich/Muscat/Bangkok. OMAN AIR advertises the flight is a Boeing Dreamliner with the comfort of a flat bed, and that's important when you're 80!
Flights up to Munich were as expected, but I was informed that the Munich/Muscat 7-hour NIGHT sector the aircraft had been changed to a Boeing 737 MAX. I had reservations about flying this aircraft and requested OMAN AIR to re-route my business class ticket Frankfurt/Muscat for a Dreamliner flight on the same date. This request was totally ignored. Regrettably, I was offered no choice but to preserve with the 737 MAX flight that business class with its reclining seat is of the standard of competitors Premium Economy class. I emailed OMAN AIR SERVICES.COM and explained that as I had paid for a flatbed service (as advertised by OMAN AIR) that was not provided. I explained I believed I am entitled to a refund and the return email stated that my email was received, and it takes 15 working days to reply!
6 weeks later, I'm still waiting! What has offended me is OMAN AIR's total lack of concern of my issue, to the point of bordering on contempt! OMAN AIR intends to join One World group, and frankly, they're level of communication is simply not up to that International Airline group.
