US Airways non existent customer service
On 2/27 I booked a flight back on Jan 1 from MSP-PHX. I fly weekly and always try to book my travel as far in advance as possible. I'm 6'5 so I need exit row in order to fit in the seat! On the day of travel Us Air tells me my flight was canceled be myself???? On the day of???
I called to complain and end result (1 hour 15 minutes later) is that I get bumped out of my exit row and to the back of the plane. No sorry, no sense of urgency or care. They tried to blame me for canceling the flight (I have been flying with them for over 10 years and 6 of them as a Chairman and the other 4 Platinum or gold) and I think I know how to not make a mistake at this point! I asked if they could do some research on who and how my flight was canceled and if they were found to be the responsible party for the mistake.... "how would I be compensated"??? His answer was a big NOTHING!!!
Pathetic airline... too bad these airlines hold a monopoly in specific cities. How hard is it to own up to your own mistakes and take care of your customers who have been loyal to them???
