Flight ticket Surname issue
 

Hi All,

I booked a ticket for my Father in-law, with a wrong surname. Instead of booking for Arokiam Pillai Balthasar (as per passport) i booked for Anthony Balthasar. Its purely my mistake.

When i raised this issue to Etihad Customer Care, they replied only 3 characters of name can be changed, so we cannot do any thing on this. So i need to cancel the ticket and rebook it, this will be more expensive now to do the same.

I am the person who gave the credit card details, but still they are not accepting it. How can do it ? Who can help me on this ?

The ticket was booked for 1st August.
