Default What is AA thinking?? flight 1784 DFW-AUS Aug. 3

yesterday I boarded a flight from Dallas to Austin -typical every seat full plane. And by the way it was 106 in Dallas yesterday.

After we are all on the plane they had to "call maintenance" -- maintenance was for the AC that was not functioning. Airplane, on the tarmac, completely full, 106 out -- no AC.

Exactly which GENIUS at American thought this was a good idea? It was literally so hot it was potentially dangerous for some of the passengers.

Why can't they check if a plane is working before people get on? Why - can't they FIX THEIR PLANES?

it was flight 1784 -- if AA reads this (doubt it - I don't believe that airline actually CARES about customers any more) - how about EDUCATING your staff on things like...I don't know.... HEAT STROKE. I question the average IQ of your employees.
